Meet the Owner

Lucky Barbero, LCSW

Safe Mind Therapy is guided by a commitment to thoughtful, culturally responsive care that honors identity, family dynamics, and lived experience. Building on this mission, I bring both clinical depth and cultural understanding into each therapeutic relationship.

I’m a Filipino American Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) offering private-pay telehealth therapy for Filipino and Asian American clients across California. My work is informed by extensive experience in acute mental health and substance use treatment, as well as a lived understanding of the cultural expectations and intergenerational pressures many clients navigate.

This practice is intentionally designed for individuals seeking in-depth, collaborative therapy. Sessions are paced, reflective, and focused on long-term emotional growth rather than quick fixes. I integrate evidence-based approaches with cultural attunement to support clarity, resilience, and meaningful change—while honoring both who you are and where you come from.
